CSA farms (CSA standing for Community Supported Agriculture) are partnerships between local producers and consumers and are an alternative to the conventional system of shops or supermarkets.
The main point is close relationships between people : the consumer knows the person from whom he gets his food and the producer knows the people who eat his products.
