Conducted on behalf of the National Coordinating Board, the GATE exam attracts large number of engineering graduates who want to pursue M Tech. Eight engineering giants (Seven Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore) conduct this examination for the admission in the post graduation degree course in technology, engineering and pharmacy in colleges, spread across India.
