Natural organic dyes can do the trick if you want to show up in an apparently new outfit at your Xmas party or to "revamp" an old table cloth! Coffee for example can be used to dye a faded dress into a nice brown hue.
Organic dyestuffs are much cheaper but also much more environment friendly. They will rarely be allergenic while chemicals are health hazards.
